While acupuncture is typically a quiet, restful experience, you're absolutely allowed to move if you need to adjust or get more comfortable. Most people find they naturally become still as they relax into the treatment, but there's no requirement to remain statue-like.

Myth #4: "I can't eat/exercise/shower before or after acupuncture"

*Showering: No restrictions here! Shower before or after as you normally would.

*Caffeine and alcohol: If possible, try to minimize these on treatment days, as they can interfere with how your body responds.

Myth #5: "Acupuncture only works if you believe in it"
